More than 28 Tau Te Ching translations

Read different translations of the Tao Te Ching (Daodejing).

Ancient Chinese is notoriously difficult to translate, a matter made increasingly challenging when the subject matter is metaphysical and resorts to mysticism to explain.

Avalokiteshvara is said to have told someone, "There is a filed between knowing and unknowing, I will meet you there". The Daodejing, like other mystical works of metaphysical philosophy exists in 'that field', you have to meet it there--a most worthwhile journey, I can promise.
