Wayist Water Prayer

My body born of water,
thanks the Almighty for this wondrous substance,
sustainer of all life on this beautiful planet,
My inner being, born of spirit,
thanks the Almighty One for this wondrous substance,
giver of life and beauty
on this joyful planet.

 

This prayer is used when we place water on the altar, or pour water over flowers, or an icon.
