Om Mani Padme Hum
Translation 1: Behold the jewel (of wisdom) in the lotus!

ओम् : Om: The Way, Primordial sound, Amen, The Divine Plan and Process
मणि : Mani: Jewel (in Skt also: clitoris, glans of penis, amulet, precious stone, bell)
पद्म : Padma (Padme is a derivative): Lotus, the one of the Lotus, the teaching of the Lotus
हुम् : Hum :Mystical syllable associated with Avalokitesvara

Our spiritual family, the Amitabha family from Sirius or the so-called Western Pure Land is associated with the lotus. This sets us and our tradition apart from other buddhist, saivist, gnostic and christian movements.
